Clinical Consultation for Therapists who are allergic to rigidity In their clinical practice
Rooted in animism, decolonial theory, and liberation psychology.
Consultation provides space for you to expand your perspective and renew your curiosity about your role as a therapist.
More therapists are pushing back against the white-supremacist, patriarchal paradigms underlying the field of so-called western therapy
And while part of you wants to join them, another part of you don’t know where to even begin.
You bring your questions, fears, and worries, and I’ll provide you with a roadmap for approaching your clinical work with renewed curiosity.
Areas we can explore together in consultation
Because there’s truly no shame in wanting to know more about:
Addressing countertransference with clients
Integrating spiritual practices into your clinical work
Structuring your practice in ways that accommodate your own chronic illnesses or neurodivergence
Creating new dreams for your professional life after being bogged down by the pessimism rampant in our field
I’m Halle! Your consultant and confidant.
As a queer, biracial, multiethnic, chronically ill, and autistic therapist, I’m acutely aware that the so-called Western field of therapy wasn’t made with me in mind, and yet I continue to thrive in this field.
I want more creative, intuitive, and rebel therapists to stay in this field for as long as possible. While other people try to put therapists into small boxes, my goal is for you to recognize just how expansive your work can be.

Frequently Asked Questions About Consultation for Therapists
-
Yes. Because this is a peer consultation space rather than a treatment relationship, I provide virtual clinical consultation to licensed and associate therapists throughout the United States.
-
No. While I’m a licensed, practicing therapist, the clinical consultation provided through Living Your Afterlife is designed for professional development, perspective expansion, and case consultation. It does not replace formal state-regulated clinical supervision.
-
Traditional business coaching focuses on marketing strategies, sales funnels, and scaling your revenue.
While we absolutely talk about structuring a sustainable practice that honors your energy and neurodivergence, clinical consultation focuses primarily on your internal landscape as a practitioner and your theoretical approach.
We look at case conceptualization through decolonial and psychospiritual lenses, navigate intense countertransference, and deconstruct the systemic impacts of working within the mental health industry.
